- Gear Up: Before each mission, use your earned SURPLUS to purchase new equipment. This could include flashlights, basic weapons, or upgrades for your physics-based grabbing tool.
- Locate Valuable Objects: Once deployed, your team’s primary goal is to find the high-value objects scattered throughout the environment. These are often in precarious locations or guarded by monsters.
- Handle with Care: This is critical. Use your grabbing tool and teamwork to carefully maneuver objects. Dropping or damaging high-value items significantly reduces their worth. Heavy items like pianos will require multiple players to push or pull.
- Transport and Extract: Once secured, transport the objects to a designated extraction zone. This often involves navigating dangerous pathways, avoiding monsters, and coordinating movements.
- Survive: Monsters are a constant threat. While escaping is often the priority, the game encourages players to confront enemies, using any available items (from valuable cargo to weapons or even fallen teammates’ components) to defend themselves.
- Earn SURPLUS: Successfully extracting items, especially undamaged ones, earns you SURPLUS to buy more upgrades for your next attempt.
